Questionnaire

[William Shakespeare (23 April 1564 – 23 April 1616) was an English playwright, poet, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and often called the “Bard of Avon” or simply “the Bard.” Born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare began his career in London as an actor and playwright. He became associated with the Lord Chamberlain’s Men (later known as the King’s Men). His works include around 39 plays, 154 sonnets, and several narrative poems. His plays are generally divided into comedies, histories, tragedies, and later romances. Famous tragedies such as Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth are considered masterpieces of world literature. Shakespeare retired to Stratford-upon-Avon around 1613 and died in 1616. His legacy continues to shape literature and theatre worldwide, with his works translated into almost every major language and performed more than those of any other playwright]
